Veyron FAQ

In typical smart arse fashion, Veyron has put up her very own FAQ or Frequently Asked Questions.  It answers some basic questions we all want to know.  Veyron sometimes gets tired of answering them - but not often.  So, in the interest of smartassdom she has put the first version together.  While I was amused with it, I didn’t let her post it for sometime.  Veyron finally won over and so it is up and online.

If you can think of anything more she would need to add to the FAQ, I’m sure she would oblige.

    Hehe, I love the FAQ and I’m definitely gonna steal some of the ideas, like the option to pay me 1000L$ to get my attention or the answer to “Do you build or make anything in Second Life?”, cause that fits almost perfectly for me as well ;)

    Oh, and I hereby officially declare that I worship you for dealing with big computers, as I’m from the software side of geekdom and usually leave hardware stuff to others. And besides that, anybody dealing with other nerds or even (*gasp*) users has my full respect, cause that’s the hardest job of all (see BOFH).

    PS. I have a question for it: ‘why does Veyron ignores Vint’s pleads for default unchecking the ‘notify me of followup comments via e-mail’? :d

    It is unchecked…. Maybe it is in your profile. I would note that *your* site has the same setting - defaulted to on.

    Now that we know a little bit more (or less ;)) about Veyron, I would like to say that I like the new look of your blog. The colors are not in particular my thing, but the lay out is nice. Congrats!!(or congrats to Vint?);))

    ‘”Subscribe” box should be checked by default’ is not checked on my blog though. Strange. And now it is indeed not checked by default here.

    Ow, can we get a ‘remember user information’ button too? =) (Checked by default, please. ;))

    I saw that as well. And there is some issue in trying to edit drafts as well. Obviously some bugs to track down and kill. Wordpress 2.3 seems to be coming out in a week or two. I’ll have to tinker around with the guts of it more I can see.
