What the Hell is this? Copybot for sale on the Internet?
Okay, I was a bit torn about posting a link to what is obviously either a scam for Second Life vendors or more likely a rip off to anyone dumb enough to buy it. Does anyone know more about the site SecondLifeCheaters.com? I found the link on a bloggers Google Adwords. Obviously not endorsed by the blogger I found the ad on. Am I behind the curve on this site?

Well, if they promise the bank account to look six-digit - then indeed something is wrong

and they are asking for a cell phone number???!!! ROFL
I clicked it… so it told me this is not available in my area. And redirected me to a dating site. Damn, I was one click clse to making a SL fortune and becoming famous.

Hey Veyron, their ‘ultra-sexy super guide to SL’ contains EXACTLY FIVE PAGES LOL
The super tips? Basically “Avoid popular places, join groups, play games” ROFL
Yep, I really believe this “Was created by the most experienced and richest members of the Second Life community”. So experienced that they have a JavaScript client-side validation system. Fucking awesome.
Yep, I was able to download this very enlightening piece of literature simply by using Firefox equipped with NoScript.

Goten: lol. nice.
(out of paranoia I did not click on anything of those buttons nor tried to enter the code:)
Not sure how about being the “richest”, but they surely are “experienced” - in social engineering at least
Put in some blah blah, become a landing point for google, add a button for the “cell phone” being a simple redirect to the website you have pay-per-click for - which would have a *way* higher click rate than just a banner ad, and for those who actually view the source afterwards (like yourself
- there is indeed something as a reward for the curiosity - and as a cover from this site being legally considered a scam
And now that I have a second look at what I wrote - those folks might be not the poorest ones too
What can I say… A very elegant way to earn money
If it does work for some areas, then I guess one could use the geolocation database to collect the phone numbers per-area - this could be a very valuable information which could be sold at a way higher price than just pay-per-click.
As a bonus one could then redirect to the site that installs spyware - botnets are also a good commodity.
So this is very far from silly, imho
