How to Vote for More than 25

MISC-208

Here’s some better instructions on how to vote on the bug/feature request.  I’m not sure who to exactly thank for it though….

1. Go to: Issue MISC-208 or https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/MISC-208.
2. In the upper right hand corner it says log in, click this.
3. Type in your full SL name, first_name last_name. (I would put in cherlindrea lamont.) Enter your password. (This is a SL run site so your password is safe.) Click Login.
4. You should now be back at the original page listed above: Issue MISC-208 or https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/MISC-208
5. On the left side bar, find the option that says Voting. Under that tab it says Vote for It.
6. You have now helped many people by helping move this issue closer to the attention of the Lindens.
7. Share these steps with your friends.

Woohoo!  Now you’ve done your good deed for the day, maybe week.  :)

  1. Supercharged by Veyron » Why 25 Groups Is a Bug Fix says:

[...] is that the databases are too messed up to support more than 25 groups and they will not support more than 25 groups.   For example, just last week, they lost (and then recovered) close to half a million inventory [...]

  2. Verbal Stew says:

popular that you need to be in every group that you are invited to? I say no. Are you some land mogul that needs 25 different groups? Mayhaps. Point is that even if they raised it to 50 or even 100, people will still bitch that it just isn’t enough.Veyronhas started a blogger movement for people to vote on the Jira to increase the group limit. I didn’t join the movement at first because well, I don’t care about increasing the group size limit. Honestly it’s more about self-control
