For my own amusement and since this is something I had thought about for sometime I am going to run a photo contest.  The judges are myself and two other anonymous avatars.  The subject is my favorite subject, me.  (giggles)  The prizes are:  1st prize, L$8000 and you can take a picture of me kissing you….  ;)  2nd prize, L$3000 and you can take a picture of me kissing you, and 3rd prize, L$1500 and yup, ditto.

Rules:

1. The primary subject is yours truly, however, you may add other avatars, or things.  If yours truly is not the primary subject, you could be disqualified.
2. No x-rated stuff.  What does that mean?  Now, if it would get an R rated in a movie theater, it will pass.  I am the final judge of what that is.
3. Each artist gets at most 2 hours with me for the purpose of photography.  If you manage to sneak a candid shot of me and use it for the contest, so be it - fair is fair in that regard.
4. You can email me to schedule a time for a photo shoot.  Use your time wisely.  If you want to take a set of photos, email a list of things you want to accomplish or a plan.
5. I will make myself available on Wednesdays from 7pm to 9:30pm SLT.
6. I will assist the photographer in putting on what they want me to wear or what ideas they have for me to wear from my inventory.  However, the photographer should have in mind how they want me to look and pose before we start.
7. I can change my look pretty substantially, from mermaid, neko, evil neko, angel, demoness, etc.  Rule is that my shape stays the same.  If you change my shape, then I’m just like any other avatar, and then what’s the point?
8. You may use any photo editing tool or trick you choose to use.  Have at it.
9. Contest entries must be emailed to me as a jpeg or png.  The words Veyron Photo Contest 2008 have to appear in the subject.  Put your avatar’s name in the subject and in the body of the email.  If you fail to do this, you might be disqualified.  Photos should be at least 1024×768, if not larger.
10. You own the rights to photos, but I own the rights to use the entries as I choose.  I’m not sure what that means from a legal stand point, but the gist is you’re giving me rights to use the photo as I choose, but then you can as well.  You can use the photo for your own promotions, I do not care.
11. You can submit up to three photos.
12. Any outfits or extra bits you want me to wear that I do not own, you will need to supply.  I can return them when I am done, I will do so.  If cannot, I will alas have to keep whatever it is.  I won’t be refunding L$ for an expenditure you have to make for a photo shoot.
13. You can take the photos anywhere in Second Life as long as Rule #2 is not violated.
14. What is a winning shot?  The one I and the panel like the most….  :)  Creativity will count.
15. Contest starts now.  You cannot use a picture that has been posted (or a derivative picture) in the past.  It has to be a new picture of yours truly.
16. Contest ends July 11th, unless I cannot accommodate all of the requests for photo shoots.  I will update the contest status on my blog.
17. Rules are subject to change.  Gaming the rules will subject you to a humiliating blog post by me. 
18. Winning posts will be posted to my blog and probably else where.  Non-winning posts may also be posted.
