Techcrunch has a snippet article about our hero, Phil. Which to make a long story short say the web browser is not where the 3D world is going to live. Hmmm, well, except the browser seems to be morphing itself into the operating system of the future. Hard to tell, but I would have to agree, the browser is too slow, at least for now.
The SL client, for all its warts, is much faster than any browser is going to go.
