Veyron Goes into Business

Yes, it’s hard to belive it, but I have gone into some sort of Second Life business.  As a wise person once said, “Everyone has a plan to get rich that won’t work.”   Hmmm…  This is not quite a plan to get rich, alas more of an experiment to see what I can do.

I had been looking now and then for a sim to buy, why, I’m not sure, but I was looking, and as luck would have it, Night Morrisey was looking to sell her sim and I was in the right place to buy it.  The rest is as they would say history.  Night was selling land on the sim and while I am going to continue to keep the existing land owners on the sim, I’ve decided to try to rent out parcels of land on the unowned pieces of land.

Right now I have five houses for rent and I will probably put up a few more by next weekend on the beach.  They range in price from L$800 to L$1800 per week with a discount for more than four weeks of prepayment.  I think they look pretty good.

Slightly smaller home 201 has a 400 prim allowance and is L$800 a week.

Another smaller home 202 also with a 400 prim allowance and L$800 a week.

You can find all of these rental lots in the Sierra Nevada Sim.  Just to share the love with all of my readers, I’m going to give any readers who rent a house one week free for each week rented up to two weeks free.  Just mention your a blog reader when you first rent, good as a first time renter.

I think this also merits a party this upcoming weekend, on the beach perhaps…  :)

Oh my, Veyron, of all the businesses in SL you picked the one with the most frustration (maybe safe for running a club), the smallest return and the toughest competition. I hate to be a naysayer, but I think you will stop this with a huge loss within 3 months.
