Okay, I’ve been tagged by Timothy to come up with eight random facts meme.  It’s from Johan Yugen.  I’m game, here is apparently the rules:

(1) Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves. (2) People who are tagged need to write a post on their own blog (about their eight things) and post these rules. (3) At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names. (4) Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

1) Veyron has more than one alt.  In fact, here is a dark secret….  Veyron is an alt.  Of course, is an alt of an alt an alt?  Hmmm, this is sort of a philosophical discussion that Dalien should take up.  Ooohhh…  This I suspect will start a buzz.

2) Veyron has a fairly organized inventory, but it has been getting a bit messy lately.  I need to spend a few hours, probably about four on a clean up operation.  It was a worthwhile endeavor to start out being organized.  I also have a pretty clever system for changing clothes fast.  I also concur with Vint about the tagging system she’s talking about….

3) I stalk people.  :)  Yeah, it’s true.  Can’t help it.  It’s the busy-body in me poking through.  Not really in a bad sort of way, but if I get to be really “interested” in someone, I have ways of doing research on them in Second Life - even in real-time….  Although I do not stalk people in real life - uh just Second Life. 

4) The narrator is slightly jealous of Veyron.  Veyron is slightly jealous of the narrator.  Go figure.  The grass is greener on the other side of the septic tank syndrome?  I know who avies in Second Life who have almost completely different sized busts in SL as they do in RL.  One has a large chest in RL, so they want a small one in SL; the other has the opposite.

5) The narrator is sort of shy in Real Life socially, and Veyron can be shy too, but will take a deep breath and then charge full speed ahead.  After all, moderation is for monks (nuns)?  I have gone pretty wild at a few Dark Eden parties….

6) I am a tease and a teaser.  Just in case you didn’t notice….  But maybe I’m being redundant.

7) I regret not spending enough time with all the people I know and love in Second Life.  I know a lot of you.  There just is not enough of me to go around.  I have about 150 avies on my friends list, and it’s hard sometimes to spend enough time with all of my friends.  I sometimes feel a lot of guilt about that.  ::sigh::  And I’m not even Catholic.  Similarly, I feel I don’t have any people I dislike or hate in Second Life.  Really.  Hard to imagine that.  Maybe I’m mellowing with age.

I’m also behind on a lot of things I need to get done.  Seems like a lot of people are also behind.  Life is short.  I also need to do something for London (I promise to get it done) and I’m being lazy about getting photos done.  And I need to do something about some skins…  I leave that one to some people’s imaginations.  Seems too much like work….

Time to pick a new theme for the upcoming blogger party.  On the sidebar on the right, you should see a poll for the theme options.  This months options are:

All look kinda interesting, except Tinies - which I have no outfit for, but I could of course shop for….  Now, what to vote for….

By a majority, Super Hero’s is the winner for this month’s Blogger Party theme with 40% of the votes. JellyBean Madison and her husband HawksRock Gunawan will be hosting. It should be amusing to see what sort of Super Hero’s will be showing up….

Who’s bringing the strippers again?

Apparently, it has happened - Blogger, which some, if not most of us use Blogger, has on occasion, dumped blogs. There is a tool out there that can backup and restore your blog. It’s free, appropriately called, Blogger Backup. I would recommend cutting a backup every now and then. Some us have a lot of precious memories in those blogs. It will also preserve comments.

Alright, it looks like we have some sort of consensus on what to vote on. At least we don’t need a poll on what to vote on. JellyBean and Hawks sound like they are going to host the next party. Do we have a date yet on when the party is? I’d like to close voting 5-7 days before the party.

Also, anyone volunteering a place or do we have one already selected (I can’t recall off the top of my head)? One suggestion might be the Paradise Lost club. It’s an entire sim and it’s been a bit dead lately. It might give us more room and space to support a lot of avatars. I doubt Paradise Lost would mind the traffic. Vint could show us her pole and Tiessa could show us some other things….

I missed most of it, but I was there for the first bit of the party. Looked like a lot of fun, and I heard we packed the sim and maybe even crashed it. Hmmm…

There were so many people there, it was hard to keep track of everyone. I think next time we need some sort of guest book so we know who was able to make the party, and maybe some sort of photo setup….

Some discussion about the next theme…. Any thoughts about a total non-humanoid theme? Something really out there?

I was searching around for some additional pirate accessories for the upcoming party, I remembered this really cool pirate car from this blog entry in Motorati.

Wow! Very cool…. So, I decided to teleport over to the Pontiac sims and start searching for the car, perchance to see if it is for sale. Not much luck finding anything. Well, while I’m here, I might as well check out the bikini car wash.

Very nice build - complete with some freebies and some other interesting things. Too bad I missed the grand opening.

Then I noticed a large group of avatars, so I decided to investigate.

It turns out it was caLLie cLine giving a tour of Motorati with two of the Motorati girls. The tour was just ending, and I was about to leave when Amanda Shinji popped in to see Callie. She’s the builder of the car I was looking for! After swapping some fashion information and she told me where the car is on display - out in front of the Pontiac sim. She is quite amusing - having built several of the cars in on display.

She is also the first girl I think who knew what a Veyron is. In fact, when I asked her if she saw the video of the Veyron doing 250 mph, she said she did. Described it as “like watching a porn video.” LMAO.

Amanda has a blog but not a lot of traffic - and I’ve invited her to the party this weekend and the blogger group. Maybe if we’re lucky she’ll bring the Pirate car to at least display.

Anyhow, I’ll be closing out the voting for the upcoming blogger party this weekend, tomorrow evening. It’s looking like Pirate is going to be the theme unless there are lot of people who haven’t voted…. I was so looking forward to seeing the Gor outfits. Hmpf.

Hmmm, all are going to be fashion challenge for moi, but that is what makes life exciting. I think a tiny party might be a bit, well, odd.

I had a good time at the party yesterday - ignoring my cold. TheDiva Rockin spun some really cool mashups which were the hit of the party. Hawks and JellyBean have a pretty cool video of party of the party….

Now if I could just shake this cold….

By a 38% margin, the theme for the next party will be SciFi. Formal came in a close second at 31%. If you want to dress formal SciFi, that would be fine.

I’d like to start the party early and maybe go on for a while to better accommodate our European bloggers…. I’ll get invites together and maybe a schedule.
